Research Interests: Research in my laboratory is concerned with understanding the regulation of glucose metabolism and its derangement in various disease states, most notably non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM). Our work is especially focused on glucose transport, insulin signaling, and insulin action.
